Funny, I just took the other side of the argument using Thabeet as an example. Vitale talks a lot but he's right about BJ. There are several seven footers riding the pine in the NBA. BJ would be better off to play more college ball, in the long run.

Never said they weren't, but many of them will have forgettable careers. Not every 7 footer leaves after one year, and it often benefits them in the long run if they stay in school and develop their game.

BJ doesn't have Oden's inside game or Koufos outside game. He's just 7 feet tall.
