Smartest thing Dickie V ever just said in his 67,000 years about Mullens

I agree. Mullens should follow Thabeet's example at UConn. Just because you're 7 feet doesn't mean you need to be one and done. That alone isn't enough in the NBA.

Dick Vitale needs to enter the 21st century.

Honestly, he's a bit over th etop, and I understand a lot of peoples hatred towards him. I like him for his passion, and he is infinitely better than guys like Mike Patrick.

His evaluation of BJ is similar to any freshman player who doesn't dominate in their freshman season. It's just uninsightful talk, that doesn't take any real NBA GM mindset.

BJ can play like dog shit for every game left in the season, and still be aken in the first round. That is the NBA draft. Stars in the early going, and potential after that.

So thnaks for telling BJ he should come back because he isn' ready Dick, but I doubt all of the millions staring him in the face disagree.

Funny, I just took the other side of the argument using Thabeet as an example. Vitale talks a lot but he's right about BJ. There are several seven footers riding the pine in the NBA. BJ would be better off to play more college ball, in the long run.
