Ohio State 50, Wisconsin 55 (Final)

Turner drives me nuts. He's so good, and at times so bad. In crunch time I think every trip down the court should go through him. When he delivers, it is a thing of beauty. When he spins and loses the ball, it drives us nuts. I don't know, live by the sword die by the sword i guess. We played more than well enough to win that game. if we get them in the B11 tourney I think we win.

I know that we got beat because of lack of defensive rebounding (zone defense and lack of hustle) and turnovers but we were very fortunate to only lose by 5 points. If Wisconsin would have been shooting anywhere close to their season average, they would have blown us out of the Kohl Center. It was just a bad performance on our part.
Having said that, I know that it has been mentioned earlier in this thread but how many times this season has a basket been counted and the offensive team gets the ball out of bounds because of a foul even when it is off the ball. Very seldom. Also, if the guy that did not pass the ball to Krabbie for the three-pointer late in the game you can call me Ed Hightower. I know it is sour grapes but I had to say it.

He needs Ohio State more than Ohio State needs him
 What the hell does that mean:huh:

Fuck Wisconsin.

Really.

Fuck Wisconsin.

That is all.

My early front-runner for post of the year. Fuck Bucky.

Ick. Turnovers, rebounding, loose ball hustle.....same things that have been an issue in all of the losses and a lot of the wins. Bucky always seems to have those hard-nosed players that create the "lucky" bounces. Wilkinson, Krabbenhoft, those kinds of guys always seem to make that one shot, grab that one rebound, scoop up that one loose ball that provides a huge boost. Damn.

Time to get back on the horse for Wednesday night at Evanston. :gobucks3::gobucks4:

The below is a good reason amongst other things why we lost Saturday night.

OSU Insider
See above, and above that. Wisconsin outscored Ohio State 18-5 off turnovers and 14-6 on second-chance points. The Buckeyes scored on 13 of 30 possessions (missing only eight shots from the field) and turned the ball over on 10 others in the second half. The defense held Wisconsin to 36.4 percent shooting, but the Badgers used a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds to get 55 shots to OSU's 38. That landed starting center Dallas Lauderdale on the bench in favor of B.J. Mullens for the start of the second half, and he stayed there for the first 10 1/2 minutes. Mullens and Turner were the only Buckeyes with more than three rebounds. Jon Diebler was no factor with two points, four shots and three turnovers in 40 minutes.
