I have no source. Lachey said it on the radio.

I'm listening to the postgame right now. They just talked about Beanie and said they aren't sure of the extent of his injury at this point.

The way you guys described him going down, I thought perhaps he broke a toe or ripped a ligament in his foot when his foot caught in the turf. Then, it sounded like maybe an Achilles tear from what you described.

It's really hard hard to believe that he was standing on the sideline as you guys describe, if he had a complete tendon rupture. After all, his calf and heel would no longer be connected and he would have real trouble moving forward off his toes. Wouldn't he be iced to cut the swelling.

If Heisman's information is correct, then it could be a more minor injury to the Achilles but not a rupture. Then, that doesn't match the description of how he went down.

So, I guess I am very confused.

this Dline is sexy...

I know its YSU, but our DT's are looking pretty solid and we got excellent pressure the second half, backups as well.

I don't think I've been this excited in a long time. Pyror is as good as we thought he could be, our D is looking 2002ish, Boeckman looked much more confident. 99.9% perfect. Beanie having 150yards would have been a nice way to kick off the Heisman campaign, but 111yards on 16 carries (6.3ypc) is pretty damn good. Even if he misses next week and does well against USC, he'll still lead the Heisman race imho.

I thought Small was gonna break through and return that punt, he's quick... and I think we'll see more production from special teams this year.

All n all, this is what we wanted to see in the opener... and its just a taste of whats to come. :osu:

I wouldn't expect any announcement that Beanie's injury is serious even if it is. They'll want to force USC to prepare for Wells one way or the other . . . .

USC will prepare for Beanie unless we announce he's out for the season. Petey isn't stupid.
