A lot of posters have said this so far, and I've heard the same from friends who have made the trip..

I'll take this oppurtunity to brag, I picked up 2 tickets 5 rows off the field between the 5 and the 20 (won't know until OSU sends out the tickets, 2 weeks before the game) in a section of Buckeye fans. $325 each, from an alumn we buy the season parking pass from each year.

I bought a single ticket off of the scUM website the year after the title game and was the only OSU person in my section and everyone was extremly nice towards me.

My uncle made the trip, the first year JT went up north, while Bellasari was poppin' wheelies down high street, he said he was surprised by how nice all the UM fans were. From everything I've heard, I kind of wish it was a more hostile environment, that's part of the fun at away games. No piss-filled water balloons, but a little hostility in good fun is always welcome and one of my favorite parts of traveling.

Just saw a post in the Denlinger thread, where BB73 linked an O-Zone snippet quoting Heacock talking about Todd practicing. Heacock used the words "tonight" and "tomorrow night" when referring to the practices.

Do we always practice in the evening when we have an evening game, or is this new?


(With the recent influx of noobs, I figured I'd try to fit in)

Well, I would guess with school they don't practice until after 4 at the earliest, but maybe i'm wrong.

It depends on the section. We get the same feedback from fans who visit the Shoe. Party near the stadium and sit in the old folks sections and you will think Buckeye fans are the second coming of Mother Theresa.

Get in the students sections or take a walk down 15th (where I have personally seen visiting fans physically threatened) and it can be a different story.

Also, you can have 50 folks tip there hats and wish you well - but if one clown gets in your face that is what you take home with you.

Try the new BW3's on High and Lane. That place is amazing. I was there for the Michigan State game and it was a lot of fun. You can always go to the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe.
