Game Thread Ohio State 33, Washington 14 (Final)

2004 Ginn 25 359 2td Gonzo 8 179 2td
2005 Ginn 51 803 4td Gonzo 28 373 3td
2006 Ginn 59 781 9td Gonzo 51 734 8td

Robo and Hartline in their first seasons with more than garbage time;

2006 Robo 29 383 5td Hartline 17 256 2td

Given their increase in playing time, is it reasonable to expect to see them put up

2007 Robo 53 703 8td 2007 Hartline 46 660 7td ?

Those seem like reasonable numbers to reach, if Troy was still the qb. Not sure how it will turn out with Boeckman at qb though.

Good research/projections. Bold enough to make a prediction for Small? It might be tough, as you say, considering TS is gone...

Ah! And there's the rub. No Troy Smith!
A great WR has a much harder time if the QB is using too much time reading defenses.
It's all just speculation.

If Beanie can stay healthy?
If the new QB can read defenses?
If being a #1 target draws double teams?
Lots of "ifs" on offense. :(

And "if" this weren't The Ohio State Buckeyes, and "if" they weren't coached by Jim Tressel, I would be extremely nervous.

This is Small's breakout year I think. He could be better than Ginn.:osu:

Let's not get crazy here. Small could be a better receiver than Ginn, but Teddy has cemented himself as one of (if not THE) best returners in OSU history. By this point in his career (where Small is), Teddy had already been mentioned as a heisman contender. Not many sophomores can boast that.
