If the coaches don't show the willingness to run Mo Wells into the line at least 20% of his snaps, then defenses can cheat on the perimeter.

Those 0 and 1-yard ISO runs set up the 15-yard sweeps and bubble screens.

neither of these will happen unless we come out throwing the ball. If we don't believe that Todd B will throw it, why should USC??

Robiskie on the curls, Posey and Small on the posts, Hartline with everything in between, TB just has to get it to them.

Get those "All World" linebackers Maaloxaluga and Cushion??? back on their heels chasing receivers and then run it on second down, etc.

I always go back to the ND Fiesta Bowl, and every single one of those long touchdowns came on first down.

Not a single run up the gut in any of them. There was SOME up the middle with Branden Joe that was very effective but the passing game helped open up the running game.

I'm no coach, just sayin...

It's kinda tough to say who I'm rooting for. I mean, either of these two losing helps my team move up a spot. I'm just going to go into the game neutral, hoping for a great game. May the best team (Or at least best team on that day:tongue2:) win.:wink2:

Ahhh Branden Joe. He's the man. One game made him a Buckeye hero forever! Suit him up for this game...nobody will notice.

In your position...don't you actually hope that the best team loses?

That's a good way to look at it, but in all actuality, I have no clue who the best team is after two games, and neither do you or anyone else, including the experts.

But our team only needs to keep winning games and the rest should take care of it's self. I mean, if we go undefeated AND win the SECCG, I don't see how we can't be in the National Title game.

BTW Mili, turns out you were right about the spread.

Maybe. They just seem like wasted plays and momentum killers. I don't think Mo is a guy defenses are going to gameplan for. He's more of an X-factor.

Auburn thought the same thing.

Ohio State vs. USC (-11 ?, 44 ?)

I think Buckeyes coach Jim Tressel is playing some mind games here. There?s the whole Beanie Wells is playing-he isn?t playing ordeal. And there?s that performance last weekend.

I mean, Ohio State got bullied by Ohio. I?ve seen the Buckeyes play some crap games in Tressel?s time, but I?ve never seen them get absolutely bullied on both sides of the ball by a MAC opponent before.

Tressel was also screwing around with freshman Tyrelle Pryor at QB, which makes me think he has some tricks up his sleeve for this week. Maybe he?s learned something from the dual-QB systems he got whooped with each of the past two years in the national championship games.

At any rate, I know USC is good, but are they two-touchdowns better? I think Ohio State?s front seven will keep it closer than that.

If you like the underdog though, wait until game time before taking it. This line is on a one-way track
up.

Pick: Ohio State
