"Courage is knowing what not to fear. "

Plato is a pussy. In addition, his definition of "courage" sucks.

Lace em up, strap em on. Let's crack some damn heads and play some ball.

I don't give two shits about the media. Every other fan and fanbase in this country can go fuck themselves. THIS is what college football is about. This Saturday only two fanbases get the exquisite pleasure of college football titans doing battle.

It happens FAR to infrequently. I'm going to enjoy it. Here is to a hard fought, clean and injury free game for both teams. Go BUCKS!
I've been living down here for 3 months now, and my question is what's weather? It will be cloudy on the coast through the afternoon, sunnier at the Coliseum, nice and pleasant.

I've watched the OU game 4 times now (actually watching right now), and I have to say, it's not nearly as bad as it seemed on game day.
In fact, the more I watch it, the more encouraged I get.
I thought that too when watching it on DVR the first time. In the shoe it was very hard to watch...

Could be that I knew the outcome so it was easier to watch the second time.

Could also be that there were a lot of good things that I didn't see live that I picked up on with the DVR.

I think that we were really close on a lot of plays that didn't look that close from Section 27A row 9 (admittedly not the best seat for watching a game). I too am encouraged.

I beg of you; please use the TE's. I don't think we need trick plays and crazy formations. Jake Ballard is a bitch to bring down. Using him and Nicol on 5-10 yard crossing patterns are high pctg. plays and will help open things up. It kills me we don't use them more. I'm having a difficult time trusting the coaches. :paranoid:

What if I told you a TE has graded out in the 40's this season? Would you still blame the coaches?

The playcalling is my biggest concern. If I see Mo Wells take a hand-off up the gut, I'm going to need an antacid. I think he should strictly be used on misdirection plays or out on the perimeter. Those calls for Mo (recall 4th & 1) had me head scratching during the OU game. I do think that the coaches were trying to see what they could get out of Mo and the line with those calls. I'm sure that they all see what we saw and we won't be seeing much of that this week.

I'm also looking forward to more TE involvement in the passing game.

I trust the coaches. They'll be just fine.

In the mean time... my new keg just got in. Let's all just kick back for the next day and a half and relax.

So, for you... I'm pouring a Dos Equis Special Lager. Have a seat and enjoy.

If the coaches don't show the willingness to run Mo Wells into the line at least 20% of his snaps, then defenses can cheat on the perimeter.

Those 0 and 1-yard ISO runs set up the 15-yard sweeps and bubble screens.
