1) Start Shaun Lane? Yeah, against USC when we finally get our #2 corner back that makes sense. He may be a special teams deamon and play his heart out but when your season is on the line forgive me if I lean towards Dwash and Chek.

2) Boom and Zoom both did well. Boom impressed the hell out of me today, he was excellent at reading his blocks and setting them up. Saine did well in the redzone today, too.

One real downside to today's game is the fact that TP didn't get more meaningful touches and Bauserman got none.

I saw a little of Todd's happy feet today against the fucking OU Bobcats so I do worry a bit about what's going to happen against Fili Moala, Rey Maualuga, and Brian Cushing next week.
I was hoping that both back up QBs would get some snaps with the ones so that next week might be a little less daunting for them should they see the field.

I thought TB did a much better job of standing in the pocket and delivering with pressure. He ran a little more than I think we are use to. At the same time, when he threw, he threw with square shoulders and his feet underneath him. Maybe I missed it when he had happy feet.

To stay on topic, I am feeling better about TB's poise facing the vaunted all-out rush next week.

I'm not one bit worried about the pressure on or the intestinal fortitude of the team. Though some fans seem headed towards nervous breakdowns by wednesday.

Oh yeah...like I said, the pucker factor meter for this game at kickoff is pegged!

I think the main reason Ohio State struggled today was because this team was looking forward to USC. I imagine that much of the emphasis in practices and preparations has focused on USC. The Buckeyes are going to show up next week and they are going to play well. This is what they have been preparing for. The coaching staff has erected an array of smokescreens and minimalistic looks that should give USC no idea of what tOSU is really going to do. Beanie's going to be back. The playbook will be wide open. And these Buckeyes are going to come into this game well prepared, well motivated, and well coached. And then the rest of the nation and the doubters amungst our own fans will see why that this Buckeye team is truly the best in the nation!

The questions I would like answered is what are JT's trust level in TB? Would he make the HOLY BUCKEYE call with TB? Or is it his trust in his OL and receivers also? I guess it will be clearer after next Sat. game? For sure the OL and receivers must step up! The less mobile your QB is the more perfect your OL must be. In many games today ie ECU OU etc. Ihave seen mobile qb's keep a play alive and make big passing plays and 3rd down convversions. One of Troy's greatest strengths! Can our OL compliment Todd and his strengths, can our receivers get open and hang on tothe ball ? Ithink with a healthy Beanie it helps the passing game without him..? Go Bucks!

This game just keeps getting bigger and bigger in my mind. It seems to me that after today this is a must win now. I realize that it was big before but now it's just plain scary big. Not only for the NC hopes but just overall respect for tOSU. We are just screwed if we lose this one badly. I am hoping for some old magic to return in the big games.

What a tremendous amount of pressure on the team. Only a highly ranked SEC opponent could make it worse. I hope they have the intestinal fortitude and innovative coaching and play calling to get it done. This one will be decided by a big time player on one side having a career night. Let's hope he's wearing scarlet and gray.

By the end of this week you will have heard that 75,000 times along with the phrases: slowhio, will beanie play, can't defend the spread, not enough snaps for Terrelle, USC leads the series overall, can't win the big one.......yada, yada. But, we are reaping what we've sown the last 2 years I guess.

God, stop with this shit. We get it, you're worried about our national perception. Stop beating the same damn drum. It's beyond old.

The goal this year, first and foremost should be to win the Big Ten. The National Title is second. USC is a huge game, but it's against the #1 team, in their house. You hope for a win, but expecting it is setting yourself up for a potential heartache. A loss to USC will not be the end of tOSU. I think we'll see a much different, much more focused team next Saturday night and I like our chances. My suggestion is that you stop watching e!spn, clearly you cannot handle it.
