What is scary is that Pryor shuts himself down running the ball. He's trying so hard to buy time to throw and not running when the lanes are there, he's giving up big sacks. When everything starts to click, he'll be a one-man wrecking crew just like VY was.

I know we aren't supposed to expect an Observations thread every week as a god-given right anymore, but goddammit I think that just makes me want it even more. I'm already fiending another hit. C'mon, Oh8ch - come off some of that good stuff.

Pryor is a pretty good player already and he'll be a great player soon, but, I don't know if you can say since Wisconsin still had a chance to win on the final drive and John Clay was virtually unstoppable when he was in the game. If he can stay healthy and eligible he could have a Ron Dayne-esque career and he might also be a guy you look back 10 years down the line and say he's one of those RB's who beat you no matter what and what were the coaches thinking?

They were saying when we got the field goal & it was 13~10 that the Badger fans were bent when our guys went on the field with the O~H~I~O flags.
But in 2004 when they did the Badger dance in the middle of the field on our Block O that was okay. It did start a big commotion,I was in Colorado & saw it on the news out there.
Anyhow nice road trip win for the Bucks!

My thoughts:

1. Pryor is clutch, and will always be clutch. BIG +

2. I don't know why but I felt that there was a bit of tension between Pryor and Beanie, during handoffs and awkward options.

3. Sloppy. When the defense plays that soft open zone opposing QB's continue to have field days. Playcalling (offensively and defensively) was awkward to me. Everyone (minus pryor and beanie) just looked nervous or something.

4. WR's!!!! What has happened. Small dropping balls, Hartline dropping balls. We never throw it deep to Robiskie either. The only one on one deep ball was thrown to Saine (RB). We need them to step up big time.

5. I feel like this team still hasn't come together as a unit yet. Like they aren't friends or something. It's weird.

6. Wells is insane. Feed him the ball 35 times a game.


A tough, tough win, Nice job buckeyes!

damn... lol

we needed this game in the worst way though. If we lose this game things would've looked pretty bad for PSU, MSU, and Illinois. Now, we can mentally feel we can win in the closing minutes if those games are in play late in the game.

Thank god we won't see another human like Clay. I will say without a doubt he will be so much like Beanie in the years to come, and right now he's in the top 3 RB's in our conference (beanie, royster, clay)

Regurgitation aside, it depends on if there's a QB to go with him. You certainly have enough at WR and a secret lab creating stud tight ends in bulk. Beckum never fails to blow me away.

Are we sure what they said about the commotion and the flags is really true? It came out of the mouth of Mike Patrick. He is a moron and he's full of shit, so there's a good chance that never actually happened.

Things clicked on that last drive.

It's important that now the growth process continues into next week. This was a highly emotional and physical game. If he remains sharp even next week (and I won't bet against it), it's on.
