Anytime you can go to Madison and come away with a win you have to feel good about it. If not for the TOs (especially the fumbled catch on their end in the 1st half), this game would not even have been that close. Big win for the Bucks and JT. We should go on and win the Big 10 now, because this was our hardest test on the Big 10 schedule imo.

My humble opinion: In 10 years, we'll all look back at this and realize that this was when we found out that Pryor was one of those quarterbacks that is going to find a way to beat you no matter what (on top of being a ridiculously talented athlete).

So regardless of Bielema's coaching decisions; this was just Pryor being Pryor, Beanie being Beanie, and the Buckeyes Beating the Badgers.


Kudos to you for having the stones to post after the game though. You're a respected poster and I hope you stick around. Tough breaks, the past 2 weeks...

1) Halftime adjustments. Defense made some because pressure was there in the second half and they held Wisconsin to 100 yards. Still too soft in the middle against the run for my taste.

2) TP is so much more effective when he is a threat to run the ball upfield. For some reason for large stretches of the game this wasn't the case tonight.

I decided to change my routine for an Ohio State "big game". In the past I would record every OSU game so I could watch it again. But after recording the National Championship games against LSU and Florida and the big match-up with USC only to see us blown out I didn't record this one. I didn't record either Scum game the last two years and we won....

So this time I purposely didn't record this game and we win.....

I am not superstitious but I am going to break my DVR so I am never tempted to record another one......:biggrin:

Ok now for the bad part. The game shouldnt have been that close. I know we say this all the time, but I cant take many more blasts to the ticker like this :biggrin:

Think the D is poorly coached, and the offensive playcalling is just not good. No imagination, poor pass routes, etc. You have so much talent on offense, and to bottle yourself up into not using it, is just beyond me.

This was a pretty good Wisconsin team (unfortunately they'll be unranked now, and this typically happens when we beat ranked teams which is odd hu?) and this game in no way should've been a blow out on our part. We dropped passes, turned the ball over, played very poorly upfront for the first half. We were fortunately to make plays late to pull away for this win. We def. didn't look like a head to toe far superior team. I think talent wise we definately are (based on what we had to overcome to win) but sometimes thats not enough to just show up.

THe Defense is fine. The defensive line is struggling right now and when you don't have a front 4 that can get it done every play you're defense won't look that great.

On offense this team is still finding itself. Last year Beanie was in the I formation all the time, and now he's making zone reads. There will be growing pains. I thought the passing game was a little above average. I dunno what poor pass routes you're talking about though?? Our recievers did a very nice job getting open, but could've done better holding onto the ball or even making the catch.

Besides what type of crazy talent do we really have besides Beanie/Pryor right now? it's not like we're rolling out all american recievers as well... Our two playmakers made plays tonight and thats all you can ask for.

Strange. I didn't record the last two NCs and we lost. I recorded this game and we won.
