No. It's the same thing that led me to believe we would beat Miami in '03. Faith.

The level of scUM's suckage in no way makes us a better team than we are. We should not be satisfied with where we are just because of where they are. (BTW, I don't really think you meant it this way)

They won't. I assume there will be other mistakes, but I think we pull it off. I have faith. I can't justify it or explain it. I just have it. Prove to me that God exists and I'll prove to you that we'll kick PSU's ass. :biggrin:



Right on! - if it's a big game against an equal opponent. But when a game reveals as many problems as this one (and others) did, you have to take notice and try to fix it, not just "assume" the team will rise to the occassion next time.

I can't fix shit. I do however have faith that JT sees the same problems we all do, and is working his tail off to fix them. I also believe he is smart and talented enough to do so. Trust the coaches.



I see no reason to denigrate D-1aa teams in this thread.
And, BTW, your math is wrong. You missed a couple of zeros there on our score.

I disagree. No offense to Todd, but he has not shown that he can handle trouble or a tight game any better than Pryor. Besides, nothing would inhibit Pryor's growth as a QB more than benching him at the first sign of adversity. Pryor gives us the best chance to win, now and in the future, and Todd shouldn't be put in unless Pryor is unable to play.

He had a Dwight Freeneyesque reverse spin move coming off the right side. Painter had to throw a split second earlly and Chekwa knocked it down...he could have had a shot at a pick 6 as well.

You bring up a huge point. After the game Sat, this may have been the major difficiency in our game. We just don't execute. I watched Penn st and Florida a little Sat and they just flat out execute. Our guys act like they don't know what's going on a lot of the time and the blocking...wow.
