Ohio Bobkittens (Beavis, FredOU, Hocking Jackassery)

How can anyone in their right mind think Ohio is a Division II school when we are on ESPN all the time.

Ohio State fan tells old Ohio State hater (who I'm pretty sure flunked out of a grad program at Ohio State) that Ohio State will blow out Navy. Four pages of hilarity ensue.

What they fail to even discuss or realize is self-evident.
If they aren't jealous / obsessed ... why are they even concerned by what margin a random Ohio State fan thinks they'll be Navy by? Why is it worth a forum topic? Why is it worth any responses at all?
Why are they obsessed with their attempts to copyright the name of the State?

Though I did train for a time with Marines, so that I am more of a grunt than most Navy men

AHAHAHAHA!! The jealousy runs deep with this one. He's even jealous of which service he joined.
The only sailors that can make any such claim are combat medics... not the docs, the enlisted corpsman embedded in a combat unit.
Anyone else is a fraud.

OK, wise-ass, please read the following: Ohio-Ohio State Settlement. This will start your Ohio Bobcat education. You will read about an out-of-court settlement between Ohio and its younger brother on the use of the name "Ohio." It resulted from a suit that junior brought against us for using our own name in the AttackCat logo. Their lawyers told them they were going to lose in court, after we produced references to Ohio University as "Ohio" from as early as the 1890s. If we had not agreed to this settlement (and I personally wish we hadn't), O$U might have had to change the name of their stadium as well as stop doing "Script Ohio." They might have had to use their real name and do, "Script Ohio State." Oh, the shame of it all!

Maybe legal-types can explain... Why would Ohio State have to quit doing Script Ohio? Does Ohio State make money off of it? I guess I could see how they make money if they take a picture of it and sell the picture. Just because someone else is CALLED something, doesn't mean I need to refrain from using that word. I can probably be forced to quit making money off that word, but I can still use it and write it down.

If not for the lack of creativity in the name and the fact that I can't see you going to the effort just for poor 'ol Beavis, I might suspect that you'd become the first person ever to create an FIU troll . . .

I think of all the Other State University boards, even the juggalos, these people are truly, truly special.

This is just great. I'm a Bobcat graduate and retired from teaching last year. To fight boredom and to add a few dollars of spending money I substitute teach in a few school districts in my local area in Northern Ohio. I have taught at this one particular school on 9 different days. The first day I was there I noticed a couple kids with Bobcat shirts on and I gave them each a small Snickers bar and thanked them for being Bobcat fans. I continued to do this each day I was at that school. Today, the 9th day here I passed out 16 candy bars. It is obvious that my little treats have increased the number of Bobcat wearing students. Students wearing the gear mentioned last Saturdays game and a few even watched on ESPN 3. Soooooo,,, at the end of the day today the building principal calls me into his office. The first thing I notice is a multitude of Ohio State things scattered about the room. His Buckeye baseball hat hanging on the door and his Buckeye jacket thrown across the back of his chair came close to nauseating me. He proceeds to tell me that I'm no longer allowed to give these "rewards" as he calls them. The fact that the number of Ohio University shirts noticed on a typical day has drastically cut into the number of Ohio State shirts in the hallways really bothered him!!! I plan on stopping the candy but you can be assured that every Bobcat wearing kid will get a high five and a thank you from me. I bet I continue to see an increase in Ohio gear being worn. I also will begin doing the same thing in the other 4 districts where I substitute. GO BOBCATS!

So, he A) hands out junk food in the classroom that parents may or may not have a problem with and B) creates a divisive atmosphere in the classroom by giving the candy only to his chosen bobcat faithful and then C) is somehow outraged that the principal might actually have a problem with his blatant display of retardation.

I'm sure that's how the interaction went down, too. I can't definitely see the principal of a high school being seriously bothered by the sports team on tshirts of his students changing from OSU to Ohio U.

That's right. I said Ohio U. Do something about it.
