I was at the game and as the buckeyes came out on the field the Wildcat charged Brutus and tried to tackle him. Brutus plowed over the wildcat leaving him in the dust. The Wildcat was not done. He got up and ran after Brutus jumping on his back and punching him for real. Security finally seperated the two mascots. Every time the bucks scored, Brutus would run over directly in front of the Wildcat and wave him buckeye flag. Anyone else see this or have any video footage?
 
I was sitting in 1C and Brutus and the cheerleaders were in our section for much of the 3rd quarter. My brother and I asked one of the cheerleaders what that was all about and he said it was not planned and that from everything they had encountered the OU people, fans, cheerleaders, and of course Rufus were absolute assholes and extremely rude people for no reason at all.

I can't really defend OU on that because when I went there the OU "purists" absolutely hated Ohio State. There's no team or school they hate more than Ohio State. You walk around campus in Athens and there's an Ohio State shirt, a Florida shirt, a UNC hat, a Miami(OH) sweatshirt and the OU people get offended that they see an Ohio State shirt. They would make comments like "wrong school," but of course they ignored the Florida shirt, the UNC hat, and most shockingly the in-conference, freakin RIVAL school sweatshirt with Redhawks plastered on it.

They try to separate themselves from the Little Brother image of Ohio State, but they don't seem to understand that all they ever do is play into 100% of the time.

:lol: I saw it and knew exactly how it would play out. Brutus was helping a cheerleader carry the flag on the field and the douche tried to tackle them and steal the flag or something. then after he failed he jumped on Brutus from behind and pulled him down. you could tell it wasn't planned.....and you could tell that later that day there would be a post on the OU message board about how awesome it was. I haven't gone over to check yet, but I'm sure it's there.

Did anyone else catch Rufus running out onto the field to tackle brutus when the buckeye cheerleaders/team were on there way on to the field? it was AWESOME!

I was curious if that was planned or not. It didn't seem like it when I saw it, then again it happened in the opposite endzone from me so I wasn't sure.

Another thing, what was up with the 110 playing during Hang on Sloopy? Thought that was a bit rude and was hoping we would show a bit more class than we showed today.
