Hate it when they bandwagon a great idea and repeat it the next year. The ORIGINAL Daylight Savings riot occured my Senior year in '97. I was smart, I was at a house party. Amateurs... drinking at the bars.

But have you seen Athens? All we got is bars... they can't take that away from us!!! :drunks:

*EDIT* Wait, besides bars we do have the largest marijuana producing county in Ohio. Those appalachain farmers made a killing off the students.

Probably still do, but only because it was cheap, not good. Like most things, you find better when you graduate and get into the real world with a real job and $50 isn't a month's worth of fast food.

to be fair, all of the older OU fans are, of course, very nice

the problem is the student population (surprise, surprise)

even when it is not football season, any OU students that you see out and about in Columbus (or across Ohio I would imagine) will let you know that they are from OU

they take a large amount of pride in the fact that they are the self proclaimed greatest party school on earth

this leads to OU students who try and drink anyone they run into under the table to prove how hardcore they party, which of course leads to general drunken college style dickishness almost anytime they are around

throw in a football game and you get mascots who tackle other mascots

like I said, it is a pretty good summary of OU behavior from what I have experienced... at least from their students
This is a pretty good assessment of the OU population. I went to OU for a year and now I'm up road at Hocking and I can say anything I go to Athens it feels like everyone down there carries an aura like their Gods greatest gift because they go to Ohio U and how great of a party school they are. From what I've experienced any school can be a party school and any school can have some pretty crazy parties. Really this behavior is quite annoying. I've also seen this come from the parents...

Our marathon clinic instructor is a Michigan grad and actually a cool guy...he brought up this subject with me at the clinic today and said he thought it was cool how Brutus trucked the clown on the initial "attack"...you have to be fucking pathetic if a Michigan grad (and fairly hardcore UM football fan) thinks it's cool you got trucked by his most hated rival's mascot. :slappy:

The only thing more pathetic than the actions of this little witling is that we have 193 comments on the non-event in this thread. :so:
Digging up the 'this deserves no attention so I'll keep posting about it' schtick, are we? :p
