A 'rasler eh? Always love to load up in the trenches with guys that have wrestling backgrounds, they just seem to pan out at a higher rate...and for obvious reasons imo knowing what wrestling does to understand leverage and toughen you up.
My h.s. wrestling coach always said 6 minutes on the mat was more grueling than 4 quarters of football playing both ways. I didn't play football but I can't believe that isn't true.
Cook has been putting in some work, but I think the coaches ask to see him camp at OSU, and then see how the start to his season goes before offering. This is similar to the Nave situation from '24, except they offered Nave, he committed and then stopped working and got lazy. And that's when Frye had to rescind the offer. I'm sure if they could do it again, they'd wait on that offer and take it slow. And that's what they'll do with Cook.BRICK WALL: Jake Cook

Cook came away with Offensive Line MVP Cook has a powerful punch and quick feet. He’s reshaped his body as well which is allowing him to move better off the line. It’ll be interesting to see if other programs try to poach the Louisville commit.
