2026 OH OL Adam Guthrie (Clemson Verbal)

View this how you want but my son’s fiancee has a cousin who plays for Trace so he went to a few games this fall. His unprofessional opinion (he played LB in HS) was that Guthrie was "meh". Now like we all know HS OL recruiting is a crapshoot and if he decides to change his mind and come to CBus I'll be happy, just sharing an opinion of someone whos seen him play in person.

My wife’s sister’s brother-in-law questions his decision making.

Joins fellow NE OH, and OSU pursuit, Blake Miller at Clemson.
Would have liked to have had Guthrie as a developmental OL, but this was one we could afford to lose....and I've been as tough as most on the staff missing on in-state OL. D3 kid that is going to need time to develop.
Now if we lose Riley to Clemson, or Greer, that will hurt more as they are less risky takes IMO.
