2026 OH OL Adam Guthrie (Clemson Verbal)

Guthrie is taking his OV to Ohio State June 6th

The Hurry-Up: Four-star OT Adam Guthrie Schedules Official Visit to Ohio State, Five-star WR Ethan “Boobie” Feaster Reclassifies to 2026, OSU Offers Two New Players

A top Ohio State offensive line target in the 2026 class has set his official visit schedule.

Four-star Ohio prospect Adam Guthrie announced he’ll take three official visits this summer on Thursday, which include Clemson on May 31, Ohio State on June 6 and Penn State on June 13.

Guthrie has been a frequent visitor to Columbus over the past year and picked up his offer from the Buckeyes in October.

“It felt good being a hometown kid, obviously,” Guthrie told Eleven Warriors of his offer in October. “It was great to be offered by such a high-level program. (Coach Frye) said he wanted to offer me based on how I play and the scheme that they run.”

At this point, it’s probably fair to call Clemson the leader in that recruitment. New Ohio State offensive line coach Tyler Bowen and the rest of the OSU offensive staff will have a chance to change that narrative over the next few months, especially on the official visit in June.

Definitely chess and not checkers. Both hires were strategic to go along with Bowen, I have a feeling OL recruitment is going to look very different (in a good way). We're going to have 3 respected OL personnel on the hunt and that is going to help. Plus we even have LeCharles coming in to work out with some of our OL already.

We casted a wide net like we all wanted at OL, but we also provided the manpower to do it. This will help with Guthrie and many other recruits.

The funniest/craizest part is that Bowen still hasn't been announced as the official hire yet, and he's putting in this much work recruiting

What!? I just assumed he had since he had been doing the work. I guess you look at it as the cat's out of the bag, so let him get to work and we will do the official announcement later? I'm sure that will happen, but now I want all three OL coaches beating down the doors of Guthrie and Riley. I am sure they will be, but its reassuring to see Day make these types of moves.

Lol whatever

View this how you want but my sons fiancee has a cousin who plays for Trace so he went to a few games this fall. His unprofessional opinion (he played LB in HS) was that Guthrie was "meh". Now like we all know HS OL recruiting is a crapshoot and if he decides to change his mind and come to CBus I'll be happy, just sharing an opinion of someone whos seen him play in person.
