2026 OH CB Elbert Hill (Verbal Offer)

Elite speed
Indeed, Elbert can fly and to me looks about like Lattimore at this stage in terms of talent and athleticism, to the point where I might want to see him on offense occasionally. He is so explosive that it is tough to relegate him to defense imo.

I am legit out of my chair with all the CB talent we have in Ohio lately. Mathews, Scott, West, Brew and now Hill...dear lord. Our CB room could be all Ohio and we would be excited.

Don't forget Galloway
Not having to leave the state for elite CB talent....the amount of time that opens up to pursue others. Not to mention we've seen a bump in OL in-state talent too, gonna be a good run for a few years :)

Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban’s coveted 2026 cornerback Elbert Hill ran the 40-yard dash in 4.4, broad-jumped over 10-feet and in the few reps he did take in 1-on-1s broke up a pass and showed what he was capable of in coverage. Overall, the most talented prospect in the building. Ohio State and Penn State have impressed early with Hill having visited both several times. He’ll get back to Columbus for a spring practice. The new offer from Oregon is exciting and Texas could also get a visit this spring.
