Official Super Bowl thread....

I would hardly call Browns fans classless for if there are many left, all of us have at least one thing that qualifies as class which is loyalty. Congrats on your pseudo win by the way, or should I thank the officiating crew...

I didn't call all Brown fans classless. Just the ones that post shit like this.

Thank whomever you please, it doesn't change the fact our 5th Super Bowl win just happened. How many have the Browns won again?

I am classless because a team I don't like gets the benefit of phantom calls? :roll1:

did I "whine" about the Denver/Steeler game? Heck, I'm one of the few Bengal fans that doesn't think Kimo is a dirty player.

What do the Colts bad calls ahve to do with this? Actually I'm not surprised - I'm sure the NFL would have preferred a Colt Super bowl to a Steeler one.

This thread is starting to get out of hand with personal vendettas between posters getting in the way of analyzing the game. Please cease with the personal banter and get back on track. If you want to complain about officiating or teams ro fans as a whole, fine, but lay off the personal stuff, and do so without the vulgar name-calling that will elicit a caustic response. I don't want to have to start moving posts, and none of you do either.

Thank you and carry on.

was I talking to you in that post?

Spare me the phantom call bullshit. If those 2 teams played 10 times in a row the Steelrs win 8.

The holding calls were legit, the push off was ticky tack but it did happen and Bens TD was too close to overturn.

The Seahawks have no one to blame but themselves and thats whats so funny. The Seahawk fans on here aren't the ones complaining, its the bengals and brown fans. If that statement doesnt apply to you then don't get offended by it, if it does then please by all means, get offended.

There are Seahawk fans in Ohio? :roll1:

You're right that Big Ben's TD was too close to overturn. Which is why the call on the field was the most important thing. Gotta love the line judge running up and then seeing Big Ben in the endzone and signaling touchdown. Too bad, if he did cross, it was 3 seconds ago and he missed it.

The ball was tucked under his arm, no one could see it clearly. In the side judges opinion it broke the plane before he hit the ground. It was not based on him putting it over once he was down. Get over it.

It seems like on most goal line stands refs don't make the call right away. It could just be that the take the time to think about what is going on? Even if he just got lucky and didn't see the play as it happened, the call was correct when you saw it in slow motion.

The Steelers may have benefited from some of the shittiest calls I've ever seen in a Super Bowl, but in no way did Seattle deserve to win that game. Too many dropped passed, and Boulware's two major misplays cost them.

Fuck Pittsburgh, but they are the Champions.
