People dislike boorish, rude, fucked up behavior. The same reason they don't like a parent taking the stage at a kids recital and saying my kid is better than the one that just played.

It is rude. It is low class. And the fact that he did it to steal a kids moment in the sun is fucked up.

Better question is: why do you seem to have no problem with it?

I don't know Kanye, hell I've never heard of him so I can't say that I hate him but what he did is about as low life as you can be. That woman will remember her night of glory as one where lobotomy brain stole her moment.
