Ended up trading in all my last-gen stuff at the easton gamestop, so I'll pick it up there. May choose to skip the madness on midnight and pick it up in the morning.

Yeah I know what you mean...I have a 7/8pg paper due next tuesday but I'm gonna be out of town all weekend sister having a baby. Then my 21st is on Sunday so I'm gonna go out for that...this is a bad time lol

Pre-ordered mine at the Gamestop on Broad Street and was thinking about going to the midnight "party". Anybody actually gone to a midnight thing at one of these places? I'm just kinda wondering how gay is it? If it's star wars, let's all dress up gay then I'll pass. :wink:

Depends on the store. At my store we really arent going anything special, just goofin around, havin trivia for a chance to win gift cards, etc. Now some of the old school gamestop stores, I am sure it will be pretty gay. My store is a former EB store.

The one on campus doesn't do anything...I think I'm gonna pick up a 5, 5 dollar, 5 dollar foot long, before getting in line

When I lived in Zanesville, I went to a midnight release of Halo 2. It actually wasn't that bad. If it wasn't bad for Halo 2, I don't see why it would be bad for GTA.

No midnight release for me either. But got my pre-order at Best Buy and will pick it up after work.

Thankfully I have Wednesday off as I plan on playing til my fingers bleed!

Yeah the G4 thing was HIGHLY disappointing. The only cool thing was seeing how the physics engine worked. Thought it was just so cool how when they stood on the curb you can see he had one foot higher with bent knee. The little things in this game will make it so epic!
