yeah, and for once we have a decent game on ESPN to start the season Thursday night. Oregon/Boise St on the blue turf should be a good one.

This was a few years ago when Spurrier first returned to college (and the SEC) and I recall the Gamecocks being the first game of the season as well. I recall Spurrier called for a bomb on the first drive (w/ Phil Petty) for a TD.

Russell Wilson should be good Thursday.
