Be water my friend.
I'm at 6 hours 58 minutes.
Another season and I get up at 4:45 am because I woke up too early like a kid at Christmas.
What is it about Buckeye football? It's a constant.
It's always there. It's what I did with my dad 25 years ago and it's what I do with my girls now. The Buckeyes are the common thread throughout my life.
The Buckeyes are autumn in Ohio. They are a connection to my childhood that won't ever be gone and they are a connection to the childhood of my children that won't ever be gone (we found out we were pregnant with our first child on September 8, 2001 about 3 minutes before kick off). As we go from kids to the complexities of adulthood we can always get some of that innocence back on those fall Saturdays when we head to the Shoe or have that party at our house.
Here's to another great season of Buckeye football and thanks to everyone at Buckeye Planet for getting us through another LONG off season.

Watching this video at 4:30 in the morning really brought me back to when i was a kid in 1953 looking at the "SHoe" as it was then. It was the most biggest, beautiful thing that i had ever seen. Now at the age of 69 years its hard to realize that i am not a kid anymore. That i am an old and gray withering shell of a man who wants to be that kid again but it just ain't gonna happen.
Its makes my guts start to wrench when i hear people making fun of Ohio State football, like as if we are nothing. God gave me a great memory and i remember so many things about Ohio STate football that i could be here for hours telling you all the things i witnessed and heard of OHio STate football but so many of you are much younger than I. You would not be interested because of the fact that you never walked in my footsteps and have no Idea whats in my soul.
But at least i have those shining moments inside of me and i am so very greatful for that. Who-ever produced this Video, i want to thank you for that. I think its one of the most touching things i have ever seen. Thanks and "Go Bucks"
