gonzo would be awesome on the rams.

Gonzo would be awsome on any team but I'm not quite sure about Gonzo going to the Rams. I know it is a little late for this input but I haven't visited the thread in a while. Anyway, I don't think the Rams would be interested in another WR only because they recently signed Drew Bennett and they already have Bruce and Holt.

With the third pick of the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select:

Doug Datish, OL, The Ohio State University

DougDatish.jpg

The Browns were committed to drafting two offensive linemen within the first three rounds. Datish may be a bit of a reach this high, but his ability to play every position on the line, his leadership skills, and the fact that The Ohio State produces linemen that excell in the NFL, are the reasons he was picked. He will immediately enter the two-deep at guard, and may even play center if needed. And let's face, he'll probably be needed.

Doug is a good player, and does have the versatility that Olaf talks about, but there is a guy like Satelle and a couple others that would be rated above him...

Doug could of been had at a later pick maybe not Cleveland's next pick especially due to this being a buckeye board, but this was not a value pick...

I agree with everything you have said - in contrast to how I feel about what king r wrote.

There was no need to knock Doug just because he felt he was not the best pick Olaf might have made to fill that need, but knock him he did.
