Official 2007 Mock Draft Thread

you think adding one of those guys will fix their offensive line?

none of those guys are anything special, (i watched them in mobile), and they'd probably end up with one of them tops.

why run sets with 4 receivers when you can run sets with 5!!

name me some good free agents they could sign.

Who would you have picked that would fix ther offensive line? Miller's got good size and is a good enough blocker to help that o-line out a bit. Personally, I probably would have went defense, just because there are alot of very good players left.

I wouldn't call Miller a horrible pick, plus he's a hometown boy.

With their 2nd round selection, the Miami Dolphins select....DeMarcus Tyler, DT North Carolina State. After a mini-run of Offensive Lineman just prior to their pick, the Dolphins had to switch gears and focus on upgrading a rapidly aging defensive line. Hopefully, an extra 2nd round pick will allow the Dolphins to address the OL later in this round or early in the 3rd...

With the 9th pick in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select:

Daymeion Hughes, CB, California

The Vikes gave up a ton of passing yards last year, and lost Fred Smoot. Hughes is a playmaking corner with excellent size.

Having fixed the gaping holes in their secondary via free agency, the 49ers are proud to select the Pride of Piqua, Quinn Pitcock, DT, The Ohio State University.
Since the Niners did not follow my lead in last years mock draft, DL is a weak spot for the Niners. Quinn may be a smidge undersized for a 3-4 NT, but he is nimble as a cat, and might be versatile enough to play some at DE in the 3-4.

Arg, all my targets are really starting to just fly off the board here. I blame CB40 for dropping names :mad2: ... even though I don't think any of those guys were "picked" or expected to get to me.

***News flash*** Putting WR Darrell Jackson up on the trade block.

In a surprising pick the Buffalo Bills don't pick someone in a position of need but rather choose to take the best available...without further ado with the 12th pick of the second round the Buffalo Bills select

WR Sidney Rice USC...we are shocked that he was still in the board and chose to improve our wr to help out jp losman...his size 6'4.5 and speed 4.55 are both things that we are impressed with...he will be able to be the go to possession receiver that we have been needing since we lost eric moulds...he will also help out our star lee evans and hopefully take away some double teams...although he needs to work on his route running, overtime we think that will develop into a very good receiver

Atlanta you are on the clock

Sorry about the hold up...The Falcons had an inturmural bball game to attend, and guys they wanted kept coming off the board ahead of them, but one guy was still left...

So with that said the Falcons select DE Charles Johnson from UGA...He has first round potential and we are suprised he is still on the board. With the loss of Kerney to the Seahawks we needed to fill a DE and in our opinion there werent any oline worth the pick we had...

i watched them in one on ones, and mobile = senior bowl.

Obviously...I did say in my post they need to play with the guys and get used to playing with them, also some guys had been off for a while, and werent in the greatest shape...So I will stick with my initial thought that some of the later guys will be ok rookies on their respective teams, even tho you you saw them in person for a couple days...

The Panthers select Michigan linebacker David Harris. He had a good combine and a good senior year. Some mocks had him in the 1st round, so im very pleased to land him in the second, not only because he is one of the best players available, but hes also at a position of need for the Panthers.
