Davidson is a decent little team...they were 16-0 in conference play, I think last year. They aren't exactly Duke, but then a lot of people thought that about Utah State too :! I think we get Davidson, but they are sound fundamentally, and it's one of those thing where they are going to have to give their very best effort, which I am sure they will do.

Did anyone else get tired of hearing Assclown Packer and Nantz whining about the power conferences not getting more teams, like somehow the MVC and the ACC getting 4 teams each is a relevant comparison? Quick, name all the teams willing to schedule a game at Creighton? I mean I love the Big Ten and all, but half, HALF of the frigging Big East got into the tournament...what the hell do they want? Every 14-13 team from a power conference to get a bid? Screw that.

Ever since the tourny began our 3 pt shooting has been so ice cold :( I'm really worried about Foster...I mean how does someone totally lose their shot like that for such an extended period? I feel like if Foster doesn't get going, we could get upset early.

Why? That's what the next few days are about...talking about potential match-ups. Once Thursday comes around, then i'll focus at the job at hand. I'm not on the team, I don't need to 'stay focused' on Davidson.

I've felt the same way recently...every game has been about one guy stepping up big time instead of seeing a smooth team effort on offense. Streak shooting is contagious...that has helped the Bucks all season, but it is troublesome now. Hopefully it warms up again...

Yes.

Nantz took it to a new level by cutting off Littlepage when he was offering his congratulations to all 65 teams who made it. Completely unprofessional.

Amen to that brother! I'm a FAN! I get to talk about every matchup, every scenario -- and I don't even have to go to practice. that's what the MADNESS is about!

Yeah....What an ass. He was so determined to bitch- that he totally cut him off! Littlepage said something kind of like ........okay?. That be the last time that he's invited for a "behind the scenes" interview with the selection committee.

Part of me thinks that the sound feed may have been cut off by that point- However, most of me thinks that Nantz was just an ass.

Normally I am on the side of focusing on what is next, but I gotta agree with Jonathan here.

This is a tournament and half the fun is talking about how the various brackets and match ups might play out.

Besides, what can you say about Davidson? They are from a rinky-dink conference. They have played two ranked teams and lost by a total of 53 points. They start a few seniors but don't have a lot of size. We do have one common opponent - ST Joe - who they beat at home by 6 and we beat on the road by seven. They may be capable of beating us, but I sure as hell don't want to spend the next four days talking about what is going to happen against a 15 seed.

How we might match up agains GTown, Florida or OU on the other hand raises some interesting issues.

We'll need to have great guard play against GTown. They're a big team but we're more athletic with more of an outside threat... if only the threes would ever decide to start dropping again. They'll have trouble guarding our outside shooters if we're active.
