I am not pleased at all w/ possibly having to face Georgetown in the 2nd round. I thought FOR SURE we would be ahead of UCLA, who is in a bracket that is far easier. I just hope things turn out for the better and N. Iowa beats Georgetown.

Official OSU in the Tournament Thread

Merge if you like, but I think we need a thread to talk about OSUs bracket independent of the overall Tourney thread.

That said, Georgetown is a nightmare for us in terms of match ups. Their top three scorers are 6'9", 6'9" and 7'2".

Of course, we may create match up problems for them as well (if we are hitting our threes), but this is not the kind of team I wanted to see us play in a second round game.

Mr. Matta will see his coaching skills put to the test.

I seriously was going to put my fist through my TV listening to Peckerhead and Nantz bitch about MVC getting 4 teams in, while ACC and Big 12 got 4 in. All they did was bring up past results and power conferences in the sweet 16 over 5 years. The past doesn't matter. Might as well put UCLA, Duke, UNC, and Indiana as number 1 seeds every year then. Just because you can't name 1 player on those teams doesn't mean they don't deserve to get in the tournament. Who the hell does Peckerhead know to get the Final Four year after year?
