Official 2006 BP Mock Draft Thread

I'm checking with the 12 unclaimed teams and their owners from last year. I'll publish any unclaimed teams. I have taken notes for who wants which team in case they aren't claimed by their owner from last year, and some people who were in last year who might want somebody else.

My take on last year's mock draft:

** Below Average

San Diego (Piney) - Cromartie, Davin Joseph, Andrew Whitworth, Tim McGarigle (3), (4th not used)
- Cromartie special teamer so far, average class imo

Not my fault I was channeling Marty (and I did get their 1st rounder right, and not my fault McNeil was taken when I wanted to take him later in the draft)

Thanks to the PM by BN I totally forgot about this and never checked this thread. So I am back to channeling Marty as I take San Diego for the 3rd straight year!

There's a Gleam Men!!!!!

BN27 - to simplify things for the Bengals I'll leave them in the hands of their current numbered GM.

Please add me to the clean-up crew list (in last year, but team assigned to new management, looking for a new team to draft as GM).

Quick update:

Haven't heard back from
Detroit
Cleveland
Houston
GB
Tennessee
KC
Seattle
NY Jets
NO
Baltimore

Brutus1 will be taking over the RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRaiders responsibilities. I'll grab a team if nobody else wants one like KC last year.

The owners from last year who had the teams above will have till Friday to answer my PM, then those teams go up for grabs. Long time posters will have preference. In the case of the Browns, I might let their fans vote for who they want to represent them because they have such a large fanbase here.

Hell, I didn't even realize the talk of this year's mock draft was in this thread. I've been looking for an '07-titled thread. I replied to your PM. Hell yes I want my Browns. I'm pretty sure my first three picks were better than the Browns real-life first three picks. Not only did I get D'Qwell Jackson in the second, but I drafted Elvis Dumervil in the third.

I still have a temporary claim to Seattle, but I'm looking to switch once we've determined which teams are still unclaimed on Friday.
