As it stands right now we will have 13 schollys for 2014. I know more will open up between now and signing day 2014 but its very unlikely to be enough to qualify for the #1 recruiting class.

Maybe so, but Urb does not rely on the Kiffinesque style of taking 30 kids and sorting them out to the 15 he's allowed to sign later......and aren't we all happy!
From what I'm reading, there will be some sort of 'reckoning' with some of the kids at tOSU and more will be leaving (as they do every year for various reasons), so why not stockpile some of 'em for '14, rather than take a 'reach' or two in 2013?
Also sounds like some of the best and brightest are very happy about their offers from tOSU, so maybe that forebodes well for the Bucks. We've got some holes, for sure, and maybe filling those and some heirs-aparent in other spots as well.
