I've counted at least 6 personal fouls in this game. That's about half of the total fouls. What a joke of a game. The winner should have to play Mount Union, so they can see what next level competition is like.

It doesn't take much pressure to make Claussen and co. crumble, but Hawaii could not apply any pressure at all. The bottom line is that ND still struggles to run the ball. If that continues into next season, it could be Charlie's last.

So I figure this is setting up another Notre Dame BCSpocalypse for next year. They're blowing out a fairly awful team in a bowl game (so they'll get a grossly undeserved preseason ranking) and they play one of the easiest schedules in the history of man next year. They're going to squeak out 10 wins and land in the Sugar Bowl or Fiesta Bowl, where they'll proceed to get the everloving shit kicked out of them (just like the last 2 BCS games).
I'm torn. Watching Notre Dame shit the bed on national TV is nice, but even allowing them into those games makes me nauseous.
