Like I said, it’s a cold rivalry, not a hot rivalry. OSU and ND rarely play but when they do it’s a big deal.

As far as Harbaugh goes, we should want him to stay in Ann Arbor as long as possible. And while it always sucks to lose to TTUN, last year’s loss was probably a good result in the grand scheme of things. It forced needed changes on the Buckeye coaching staff and reminded players not to get complacent and take the win for granted.

The Buckeyes’ highly anticipated season opener against Notre Dame on Sept. 3 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on ABC. College GameDay will also be on site for the game.

It will mark the first time Ohio State has opened the season with a home night game since the Buckeyes played Marshall on a Thursday night in the Shoe in 2010. It will be the Buckeyes’ first home opener at night since their 2014 loss to Virginia Tech.

College GameDay will be making its 53rd overall game appearance at an Ohio State game and airing from Ohio State’s campus for the 21st time.

Just for clarification, wasn't the home opener of the 2014 season against Navy the week before the Va Tech game?
My bad, just checked. That game was in Baltimore.

Correct, opened with Navy on the road. The game was moved to Baltimore because the Ravens stadium capacity is more than double Navy-Marine Corp Memorial Stadium’s 34,000.

The road game was the return trip for Navy visiting Columbus in 2009.

And idiot Beau Bishop is on the radio bitching that OSU at PSU should always be a night game white out. You fucking moron. That might make for good tv, (and he’s a guy who couldn’t cut it on tv and got demoted to radio), but it’s an advantage for PSU you bourbon-soaked dumbass.

And then, of course, he goes on to say that OSU-Michigan should always be a noon kickoff. (Which is correct but he’s contradicting himself.) The guy is an imbecile.
