Yup. And I can live with a couple of busts in week 1 so long as we're bottling them up the rest of the time.I have half a chub. We had what… two busts that resulted in half of NDs yards tonight.
wow a Krull memeYup. And I can live with a couple of busts in week 1 so long as we're bottling them up the rest of the time.
I said earlier, today don't know how good ND is gonna be offensively this year, but I don't feel off saying that they probably would have had 400+ yards and 30+ points last year. This looked like a vintage Silver Bullet Defense.
I don’t think JSN was hurt too badly. He was limping around a bit but they put him back in. If it was serious then the medical staff wouldn’t have allowed that. He could sit next week and they’d be fine but I’ll bet he’ll play. The way the Buckeyes won this game impresses me far more than passing for 500 yards against a bunch of shit bags.
Had to buckle down, get physical, and come back to beat a good team. I just hope JSN isn't hurt too badly.
A win with all those 4 & 5 star recruits present is never a bad thing.
Eh….I don’t think we made the statement we should have. I’ll be honest, I think tonight prob hurt with most of those 5 stars.
That said, was good to see our team show some toughness in second half and find a way to win. The Miyan Williams drive was fantastic.
Props to Mike Hall who is an absolute stud. Props to Jim Knowles who earned his paycheck in 1 game (we don’t win this game with last years defensive staff).
And lastly, props to Xavier Johnson who balled out when our 5* WR studded room needed a massive pick-up with JSN and Fleming hurt.
I admit it….i feel like a spoiled fan. But this doesn’t feel like that great of a win. ND is going to end year as maybe a fringe top 25 team….they weren’t very good if we are being honest.
