I wonder what the countdown has moved to on the meter for "when will Clausen Senior be told to butt out?"
Jimmy Clausen is good enough to cancel out the difficult schedule from what I hear.

picking on the domers is always fun, but the schedule looks* pretty brutal this year for the first 8 weeks. i doubt any other team in the country plays one that hard.I like these games:
Navy (Home)
Air Force (Home)
Duke (Home)
I heard somewhere that a team of 500-pound grandmothers wanted to play Notre Dame, but Charlie Weis wanted to play someone with less speed than his defense, so he scheduled Duke, instead.
Irish to wear green against USC
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) -- When Notre Dame faces USC this fall there will be no surprise, the Irish will be wearing green.
Coach Charlie Weis made the announcement Friday, saying the team would wear green jerseys to honor the 1977 team. Weis was a senior at Notre Dame when the 11th-ranked Irish wore their normal blue jerseys for warmups, then donned green for the game and defeated No. 5 USC 49-19 en route to the national championship.
