OK, I understand the geography of ND relative to the B10 schools. Pretty simple. As to the AAU, utterly understandable that the B10 Prez's make that non-negotiable. Riddle me this, though. ND has an excellent undergrad program. However, (and this is the question), what sort of grad program do they have? I don't know, but recollect it's minimal. And, again, not certain of my understanding, is that what the outside consulting contracts companies/countries have with universities, is that these contracts are mostly grad school driven.??? How/why does this then make ND more desirable than a North Carolina, smack dab in the middle of the East's 'Silicon Valley'? And where on earth did TAMU come from? Don't recollect ND playing them, so don't understand the connection. PS, don't really care for ND's attitude of 'if you want us in, you gotta do this'. Still doesn't sit well with me that the Playoff Committee bent (?) some rules so that ND has a very good chance of always getting in the National Championship game/playoffs. Help me clear the fog away.
