More UA news released for the Irish this morning. AD Swarbrick said that the UA deal is by any measure the largest deal in the history of college athletics. It's a 10 year deal, with the largest cash component and largest merch agreement yet. Theres also the option for ND to take UA stock in the form of payment.

As far as the jerseys, they've only teased a small shot of the football uniform, but it doesn't appear to be busy or hideous. From what's visible it looks to be fairly clean and unchanged as expected, but I would guess the Shamrock game uniforms will be some typical, crazy UA design.

The private school did not reveal the value of the 10-year deal, which will begin when its contract with adidas expires at the end of June, but sources told ESPN.com that the value of the deal, in cash and merchandise combined, is worth about $90 million.

That would make the deal worth more than the $82 million adidas is paying in cash and product to Michigan over 10 years.

Is ND going to be able to score enough to keep up ?
That could be why they're an underdog in their own house.
Then again, they will certainly get some good old "home cookin'" playing at home.
Should be a fun game to watch.
