Notre Dame (football only discussion)

Rivalry?! Are you fucking kidding me?

Mike and Mike were talking about it this morning. They both were so very excited about it.

Somewhat off topic, but they interviewed Brian Kelly during the segment. He mentioned it was a big deal because the entire Big Ten as well as Notre Dame relies heavily on Chicago recruiting.

Honest question, who was the last big time recruit Ohio State has pulled out of Chicago? and who was the last one that contributed on the field?

Yesterday, a Tech Sergeant from a section across the ops center tried to start shit with me yesterday, asking "How fucked is your team now?" Knowing what he was trying to do, I asked "How about being specific, domer boy. What do you mean?" He then said somethine about the Tat5 and Tressel, and I told him we'd be fine and would be either 4-1 or 5-0 during their absense. He then whined, "Well, we don't cheat." I replied, "We don't kill video assistants." He didn't like that. I then asked how the Tat5 selling their own stuff, although against NCAA rules, amounted to actual "cheating", and asked how it relates to performance on the field. He then cried, "Well, our academic requirements make it too tough." Totally avoided the question. He then held up his hand, waived his fingers, and made a comment about all the national titles they had. I told him that no one cares about the Knute Rockne era and that Notre Dame has been irrelevent for a quarter century. He stormed off in a hissy fit before I could remind him that we stomped them in all three games we've played them since 1995. Domers fans are really full of themselves...
