Well at least they're better than the PSU versions. Not saying much, but for me those were awful. And I don't mind most of the alternate unis.

What's wrong with me is that I think the "X" is silly. Fuck Michigan? Fine, certainly has merit. Muck Fichigan? Has a beat, you can dance to it. I give it a 7.
But putting an X over every M? Just not my game.
Now then, back to the Irish and Dumbest Fan Base In The World With No Connection To The School. Had St. Stanford not given that purple-faced twat his third L for the year they would have been home free and into the playoffs because TV would want them there.

I agree. It's childish. It has no real meaning if somebody on an interweb tube board is doing it but when the university does it as actual policy it really makes us look bush league and overly obsessed with tsun in a little brother kind of way.

I get what you're saying, and I am aware that I'm being inconsistent. "TSUN" at least has some history in the rivalry going back to Woody. And outside of this week, I usually use UofM or Michigan. The no "M" thing is just manufactured and needy.

Not to be excessively argumentative, but I wasn't originally commenting on anyone Xing out an M. I was commenting on using the full 'Michigan"
word in a BP post during The Game week. Don't know any other regulars here who do that. In fact, I learned the practice of substitution of tsun, ttun, scum, skunkweasels, etc. etc. from you guys. So, I was just surprised to see the name written out. Didn't Woody start it--not saying their name? Anyway, I just thought it was part of the rivalry game--an ongoing joke. Never said one word about Xs.

Notre Dame has a point here. The result of awarding FCS scheduling and weak conference schedules.
After the initial push to see more big OOC games, looks like we're going to contract back to BCS era 'wins against cupcakes are better than risking a loss' scheduling.
