To be fair, they didn't lose any of those road games by 31 points.

Wrong thread still, but I can remember tOSU squeaking by in ‘02 @ Purdue, Illinois, Wisconsin and Cincinnati. Going undefeated is still impressive even if the score in each game isn’t impressive. On top of that, those talented and hungry teams usually win because of their mindset.

If the U can drub ND, then smack Clemson around...

I don't get it... Last year, Clemson SQUEAKED past Troy 30-24 at home, NC State at home 24-17 (OT), VT 42-35 at home, and lost to Pitt 43-42 at home and the mantra was "champions find ways to win."
Miami does some squeaking, and it's a fraudulent team.

Not that I'm saying this is a natty-winning team - hell, this is an in-process rebuild still, as far as I am concerned.

But DAMN! if the hate isn't real, and at times almost has a life of it's very own!


BTW - congrats on the B10CG berth - good luck to ya.

It's got to do with recent resume. Miami has been out of the scene for years now... Clemson has been in the mix for years.
Not saying it's "right" or "fair" -- but that's how the media works; esp. ESPiN. They have their "brands", Miami hasn't been one for awhile. So you're not going to get those media breaks until you force them to respect you.
