I did not see this coming for the Irish. Their defense is absolutely national championship caliber. They are exactly what USC doesn't want to see as well. Physically dominant in the trenches on both side of the ball.

Got to give credit where it is due........ Notre Dame is a very solid football team. However, they will get shut out of the National Championship. I see Alabama and Oregon running the table. I think Kansas State could run the table as well....I hope to God they get a chance to play for the National Championship. Fun team to watch.

I disagree, in the sense that if ND wins out, they are in. They will get all the poll sympathy in the world. The only scenrio I could see playing out is if Oregon and Oregon State are both undefeated going into the Civil War...then and only then might Oregon pass them. Kansas State may stay ahead of them, but I think they will lose once.
