With USC(W) and Oregon State losing yesterday, the computers aren't going to pour out much more love for the Ducks even if they beat them. Hell, Stanford was in a tight game against Wazzou.

I think NDs defense will roll them as well. One thing Barkley has proven this year is that he's easy to force into mistakes if you play a little defense...which nd can do this year.

I don't see how ND doesn't get the #2 ranking over Oregon in the human polls...I'm not sure how the computer will work or the latest permutations about what % of what goes where, but I think that will be hard for Oregon to overcome. Will be close though, still lots of games left.

Human pollsters love big offensive displays, and Oregon does that better than anyone in the game.

Notre Dame will also be hurt by the fact that they don't play a conference championship game, which means that they will have one less win than Oregon will have, if both teams run the table.
