Notre Dame 20, UCLA 6 (final)

DSA:

Team__________DSC______Rk________DYC______Rk
UCLA_________1.234_____43_______1.238_____31
Ntre ame_____0.404____112_______0.624____111

I wouldn't touch this with a 10-foot vPole. UCLA has more personalities than John L. Smith.

I don't think ND will win, but I really don't see them losing by more than 20 points.

I would think that pure shame will force them to not get blown out again, and to atleast cover the spread.

Or so you would think.

Jeez, 20.5.....21 points????? When was the last time that a team of this stature was a 21 point dog? Holy cow how the mighty have fallen. 3 touchdowns.

UCLA cornerback Trey Brown wants to beat Notre Dame, bad.

"I'm not a big Notre Dame fan, so I don't know what they've done prior, in their history," Brown said. "All I know is I don't like the green. I don't even like money this week. That color ... before I came in here I threw my wallet in the trash."

I think maybe the offense thinks they need to keep the game within 21 first downs, not points, so I think they can probably cover that easily.

As for the game, they suck, they'll lose. I agree that UCLA has more personalities than Weis does farts after all-you-can-eat taco night, but I don't think it really matters which one shows up this year.

Oh man, Olson just went down and is out of the game currently, wasn't putting weight on his bad leg. Zibikowski took him down, stripped the ball in the process. ND picks up the fumble and takes it to the 3 yard line, couldn't score the TD though, sad. Now UCLA has the walk on QB playing, if I was ND I would fill the box on defense to shut down the run, they could win this game actually if Olson stays out.

The backup QB for UCLA is not looking good, Olson is still out. ND really just needs to shut down the run and they could probably win this on a few field goals. ND's offense definitly isn't looking sharp, they're trying to go to Tate again and hes just not open. Looks like UCLA has had him scouted, hes been double covered a few times.

ND scores again, up by 2 TDS now. They get to the backup QB and strip it, Crum takes it back for a TD. My heart goes out to this guy, probably never expected to start, lotta pressure on him in a big game like this. Hopefully ND's defense and special teams can keep playing the way they have been, they've been decent even when Olson was still in.
