And so I ask again,(and I'd love to hear from the Michigan fans who drop in here) Are you telling me that the only QB Michigan has to back up Henne is a true freshman? How bare can the shelves be?

Henne's current bridesmaids:

Ryan Mallett (6'6" 247) freshman
David Cone (6'6" 214) sophomore
Lee Mondol (6'2" 205) sophomore
Nick Sheridan (6'1" 201) sophomore
Steven Threat (6'5" 228) freshman
Jeff Zeigler (6'6" 211) sophomore

I think Jason Focier transferred last year...

For face ND @ TSUN?!?

Jeez - this is otherwise known as shorting a stock, but for that analogy to work you'd have to have stock with which to work.

So really, this is a bad attempt at a dead cat bounce.

They certainly have a type.

But let's be fair to the kids - they've only been "Michigan Men" for a year or two, so maybe they aren't total douchebags just yet. I hope all those guys except Mallet like holding clipboards, though.
Too late , they signed with scum and that makes them total douchebags.

If I'm Charlie, I play Jones!(at QB)
Just the idea that he(Jones) is another athletic
(read running/passing) QB will have the skunkbears defense shaking in their
gold and blue socks!
Can the skunkbears pull this one out with Mallet at QB?
Doubt it.

Didn't he have a 20-2 record as a rookie for the Mets around 1986? Although the dude's kind of on the old side, he has a strong arm. Michigan is loaded.... dammit, where's that stupid sarcasm font thing...

I can't believe there's any question about who to root for. Sure, everyone's entitled to his/her own opinion, BUT THIS IS MICHIGAN!!!! Buckeye fans don't sell F- Notre Dame shirts. Buckeye fans don't tell ND jokes. There isn't a saying about how South Bend is a "lady of the night".

This isn't a matter of Michigan winning to "strengthen" the conference. I have news for you guys, Michigan already got bent over by a Pac 10 team and out-played by a Div IAA team!!! A win over a hapless ND team isn't about to save face for the Wolverweenies. Nothing that happens on Saturday will change the fact that Michigan is the embarassment of the conference. AND WE SHOULD LOVE THAT FACT!!!!

Whenever I get in a bad mood, I'm going to re-read Dryden's post about the Michigan fan wanna-be's. That brought a smile to my face. And for the record, the South Park fight analogy made me bust out into tears.
