Nick Saban (ex-HC Alabama Crimson Tide)

Think about it for two seconds...

NOW is there anyone who can take this rumor seriously?

The HC at Alabama does not leave to go to West Virginia. WVU just lost an alumnus to another school for crying out loud.

There is nothing to this, and there shouldn't be the slightest doubt in anyone's mind about that.

I heard the Nick Saban to West Virgina bit to...walking into a job where a championship in your 1st year is a strong possibility, not to shaby.

:osu:

The Bamaturd's ego is the size of a small planet and he would not allow himself to be down graded to West Virginia...

If you wandered over to the various recruiting sites on signing day you probably noticed big banners proclaiming Alabama's return to power via the nation's top recruiting class. This is due in large part to the enormous number of recruits that put pen to letter of intent for Nick Saban: 32, a full seven more than the NCAA's yearly limit of 25. Only Miami managed to stretch the boundaries of the rule further, signing 33.

Well, this should provide some entertainment next week. Fiutak is just begging to be attacked by 'Bama fans.

I am begging you to make a weekly column of hate mail that you receive. I crack up when I read any that you post and I'm sure there's some pretty funny stuff that you don't. Also, will Bama win a national title in the next 3 years? ? SH

A: Auburn rules, Julio Jones is overrated, Bear Bryant was a total cheat, and Nick Saban has a hair out of place. I'll post those e-mails you want next week

Tide signee testifies in murder case

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (AP) -- Two weeks after he announced his decision to play football at Alabama on national television, star wide receiver Julio Jones found himself in a new position -- that of a key prosecution witness in a capital murder trial.

Wearing a gray hoodie emblazoned with an Oklahoma Sooners' logo, Jones testified Tuesday that he witnessed the gunshot murder of a longtime acquaintance who was identified as a drug dealer. The slaying occurred in Baldwin County not far from Foley High School, where Jones became one of the nation's top football recruits.

Jones, 19, said he and his best friend, 18-year-old Lugene Gibbs, watched from across a street as Labarron McDonald, 27, fatally shot Gibbs' uncle, Marlin Lashane Phipps, 33.

Saban acknowledges Alabama needs to address off-field issues

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Off-the-field problems have been piling up for Alabama's football team.
Two players were arrested in a span of six days, one player has been dismissed and linebacker Prince Hall has been indefinitely suspended.
With spring practice approaching and a top-rated recruiting class recently wrapped up, coach Nick Saban still often finds himself dealing with Bama's bad behavior.
"It's a problem. It is a problem," Saban said Tuesday at a news conference. "Our team needs to have better discipline, judgment. We cannot tolerate poor judgment."

Saban gets defensive when asked to explain how he'll handle oversigning (32 recruits, 25 per class limit.... also over 85 total limit).

:tibor:

Little on edge there, ehh Nick? I wonder how many kids were told they could actually make that roster and are going to be left without a spot. :shake:
