Nick Saban (ex-HC Alabama Crimson Tide)

Saban only beat two.

For somebody who looks like a troll he's not very good at it.

As much as I think Nick Saban is the closest thing to pure evil in sports, I'm really looking forward to a Meyer/Saban rivalry over the next 5-10 years. But for a while, I thought Saban at least respected Meyer's teams, but this last comment makes me think otherwise. I want blood this year, Crimson blood. Nothing else will be satisfying if we don't get at least a crack at the evil empire.

They already had a rivalry and Meyer almost died of a panic attack after the SEC Championship.

To be fair, this was in response to a quote of Urban's from Friday when he said they should have lost three games (LSU and Georgia in addition to Texas A&M which they did lose). Saban was asked directly how many games he thinks OSU would have lost if they faced all 6 of the top SEC teams.

You look at [2012], [Alabama] should have lost three games. Georgia had them beat. LSU, I watched that one, it was over. Obviously they ended up beating them. I thought they?d be really good. I think there are some really good teams in the conference.

Saban was asked today about Ohio State competing with the top six SEC teams last year in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

I wouldn't call that a rivalry... yet. They played all of 3 times, if I am right in my calculation. Right now, it is Nick Saban, and the rest of the CFB world. We want there to be a rivalry, but unless it actually happens, it won't matter.

We have a rivalry with the SEC, not 'Bama. They acknowledge it because they take every chance they get to mention 0-10.

We're just focused on 'Bama because they're the team to supposedly beat this coming season.

he also took at shot at our pansy ass AD.
said when he was at LSU, he didn't mind playing Florida every year.

he forgot to mention the Zook was there for 3 of the 5 years.
and yet lil Nicky still had a losing record against them.

Texas A&M had exactly zero ten win seasons between 1999 and 2011. During that time they had two 9 win seasons, never lost less than 4 games in a season and had four outright losing seasons.

Their overall record in their last 13 seasons in the mighty Big 12 was 87-73 for a whopping 0.54375 win percentage.

They join the SEC, have their best season by far in over a decade in the "toughest conference in the land" and now they get to thump their chests along with the rest of the conference? How exactly does this add to the mystique of the SEC again?

How dare you bring logic into the discussion about the SEC... In all seriousness, I can't even have a somewhat intelligent conversation with any person about anything that involves the SEC
