Their fans (and coaches) just bitch and moan at anything they perceive is a net negative to them. Hurry up offense? Saban claim it is a threat to player safety because their defense is getting torched. NIL? Saban is in the same echelon of Bill Belichick for me. Do I respect the success he had for a prolonged period? Yes. Do I also despise him and root against him. Also yes. It looks like the end of a dynasty in Tuscaloosa and I personally love it.

Just sayin': Yeah right, he may like the team/players; but he likes to win (i.e. run the table). This year's team is what it is so I guess he has to make the best of it. Besides nobody is going to convince me he likes playing "2nd fiddle" to Georgia/Kirby Smart in the SEC.
