I've got to see this kid play, he is a good blocker very physical, good hands once he catches it i don't think that i've seen him taking down on the initial contact. Im interested to see how much bigger he will get. He is a big time mismatch for DB's they run a five wide set most of the time and he's alot quicker than you would expect a kid his size to be.

I didn't know Jack Nicklaus was his grandpa. I did know his coaches name is Jack Daniels though.

Heard someone call Nick the best TE in the state, regardless of class, which is saying something considering he has a TE teammate (Gerald Christian) who is a Rivals250 member in this year's class...

Southeast recruiting Blog - ESPN

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound O'Leary -- who is the grandson of golfing legend Jack Nicklaus -- has made unofficial visits to Miami (Fla.), South Florida, Central Florida, Florida, Ohio State and Georgia.

Currently, he has a top five of Miami, Florida, Georgia and Ohio State, but said that Ohio State, South Florida and Miami stand out above the rest. His grandfather is a Buckeye.

Why couldn't O'Leary and Koyack be in different classes? It would be pretty tough to convince both of them to come here in the same year.

I think we got a better shot with Koyack than O'Leary. O'leary wants to go somewhere were they have thrown to the TE pretty frequently. Also O'learys' old man is an UGA alum, mom was a cheerleader there too. But hey you never know he could be all Buckeye...:wink2:

I hear you but if we ACTUALLY use Stoney or Ballard, you never know.

Jack, being 1 of the exclusive 9 non-band members, who have had the honor to dot the "i", should have profound influence on his grandson. I would assume that Nick witnessed Jack's "i" dotting in person in 2006. Yes, his parents are UGA alum, but i would also like to believe that the experience in the shoe, with 100,000+ fans all cheering on for your granddad, being it a very special honor in the state of ohio to dot the "i", should have a lasting impression on the 15-16 yr-old Nick at the time. Remember, that's the last and probably the most memorable moment regarding any school he is interested in for Nick.
