NFL Discussion (Official Thread)

That's 100% staged

It was but those crazy bastards were downtown flipping cars at the start of the game.

Also, 100% concur with the notion that the NFL has anointed Mahomes the new Brady and the league has made it a "point of emphasis" with their officials. I'm too old for this shit, I don't have it in me to watch this movie again until this little geek is 40 something.

PSS-how do you grow a field especially for this game for two years and it's just as bad as the field they roll out every week?

Lastly, the commercials mostly sucked and I haven't seen or heard anything as bad as a pregnant chick doing strip club music for 30 minutes in a long, long time. Probably since the last time I saw a pregnant chick stripping.

I’m not a Bengals fan (a Browns fan) and that was a horrifically called game for Cincy…..feel for the players and city. Just an absolute clown show…….the NFL has a really significant credibility issue with officiating. There’s a lot they could do to fix some of it, with technology for example, on spotting the ball. But the subjective aspect of the game (like illegal use of hands, holding, illegal contact, etc)…..it’s just so biased in certain games it stains the entire league. As a neutral fan, I came away thinking the NFL had a desired outcome…..and it was achieved. Takes a lot of fun out of the Super Bowl for me….

Wow…..lolz.

I’ll just stick to my script. It’s perfect.

In regards to the field…..it’s science, haha.

When you put natural grass in a desert environment, science happens. The moisture from the turf rises to the surface in desert conditions.

Has anyone here had the pleasure of playing a desert golf course? It’s no different…..they try and protect grass (like they do in Vegas) but it’s even harder in Glendale based on heat.

I don’t have a perfect answer but big games should not be played there unless they go to artificial IMO. Watching great football on a hockey rink kinda sucks….

I hope people are starting to catch on to this.

Propped up bullshit. It’s right in front of us.

It’s pretty much impossible to deny after this postseason. Anybody that doesn’t see it is in straight denial or a Chiefs fan.

Wasn’t it last year that the officials kept missing half the Rams OL jumping offsides multiple times? Come on, man. If anybody can’t see this shit is “guided” from above, they need to open their eyes.

I highly doubt any of the conspiracy theorist/let them play crowd had any problem with the PI call on Miami on 4th down 20 years ago.

So where's the line when we just let anything go? Or is it only a problem when you don't like the outcome? Pretty sure I can guess. :roll1:

Pretty much what I think. Clearly holding sucks it happened and announcer was obvious to first one and focused on the hand on the back much later.

People sound like Miami fans in here

Bradberry even admitted he grabbed the jersey. He didn't deny it was a penalty, just hoped they'd let it slide.

BUT CONSPIRACY!

I'd take the "rigged" conspiracy talk more seriously if I saw a fan purport it after the team they wanted to win, won.

Funny how that never seems to happen. They don't like the outcome, and they're suddenly more enlightened than everyone else.

Yeah, sure. Tell me the rigged bullshit when your team wins. Then we can talk about me taking your favorite bullshit seriously.

Hey, I won $38.75 on silly prop bets going to the local sports book a couple hours before the game.

I took $20 bucks to the book and made out with almost double. I’ll take it. Turned a game that had no interest for me into something compelling. Hooray for gambling (responsibly!)
