I know the consensus is the Bears need help on both lines, but Claypool and Mooney are both on the last year of their deals, and I’m not convinced either are gamebreakers worth keeping. If the Bears could land guys like Dre’Mont Jones and Orlando Brown in free agency, that frees them up to take JSN with the 9th pick. Tomorrow is going to set up their draft preference.

Moore and Smith-Njigba paired with the rushing offense and Fields dual threat ability would just be a nightmare to defend.

The trade back from 1 to 9 is just brilliant given this years draft will probably see 4 QBs go in that range, so Chicago has essentially traded back to the 5th best non-QB available while adding a first round WR and so many more picks. Bijan Robinson would also be intriguing. The Bears have so many options and so much cap space.

And the irony is Chicago is only in this position because of Lovie Smith winning his last game in Houston as a big fuck you to their ownership.

Bears have a bajillion dollars of cap space this year. So they could build the lines and D through free agency. So we'll only know where they need to go after that.
