Considering Trey Lance was also picked ahead of JF.... I presume that means his camp also floated some of those bad rumors?

Lynch and Shanahan said that their selection of Lance was based solely on the potential they saw in him physically along with his football IQ and work ethic. They said his interview was the best they've conducted by far. Any QB drafted in SF is in a much better spot because he can sit behind Garoppolo for at least a year (assuming no injuries) and Shanny is great with QBs. I wish Fields would have landed with the 49ers.
